Both Edgar Allan Poe and The Cure appeared before me in a very early age and have tainted my life in a way there is no point of return. For that I can only be thankful.

I remember a drive in my car for 8 hours across germany while listening to join the dots. I could hardly follow the street, too many tears in my eyes...
sorry, thats not true, I cried my eyes out and I don't regret a second.

Will always be one of the best bands despite trends and the cheapness of what people will cling to!!

this is just... amazing...
The Cure is a band that no one will ever recreate the sound of. No one has touched me like they do. And no one ever will. I'm sure of it. I may be a young teen in the wrong time but I know what I'm saying when I say this band will never die. If that makes sense.

I was fortunate enough to meet Amery Casell an 82 year old pub owner in the last three months of his presence here in this world. He had this in his old 45" jukebox and my friend and I would play this song on those last quiet nights. He would call this "the Funeral Song", it it reminded him of funeral marches in his hometown as a child in Italy. We miss you Amery!
