Time is flying! In the beginning of this Tiger Year, I had a idea that is to do a series dedicated to subject matters that have got a "tiger" in their name, for example, "Tiger lily", "Tiger Shrimp" and "Tiger Cat". But I had not got chance to do it until today. Hope I can do a couple more in catching the tail of the Tiger Year. Please let me know if you like this idea or not write your suggestions in your comments (forget about "Tiger Woods" though:-).

To get a basic set of 3 brushes and other Chinese painting supplies, please visit

I used Xuan paper with silver flakes in this painting:

Tiger year, wow. I was born in the year of the pig!

Very nice picture, a great represent of this year!

  • @FantasticArts95 It depends. 2010 was Feb 14; 2011 will be Feb 3. You may google it to learn more. I am also a Pig.

  • Great Henry...as always.

Did you use Peach Sap glue on these as well?

  • @MrHroark Yes, I used peach sap glue water in doing this painting. Thanks!

  • Henry, I love ALL your art and truly enjoy watching you paint; But this "green" screen and all the camera movements, zooming, panning in and out, makes watching just a lit bit less enjoyable. Too much movement....sorry.
