Hall of Fame 2011 Las Vegas. Open singles match between Frederic Collignon, the world's best foosball player, against Zeke Cervantes.

This was the first time I played Collignon in singles. He definitely dictated the pace of the match. I didn't get as many offensive possessions as I typically do, and that is a testament to Collignon's defensive prowess.

I played well defensively, on both the 5 and goal. He is too good of a player for all the mistakes I did. Either way, it was fun playing him.

  • Why does this table soccer game have 3 goalkeepers?

  • @Zazmiz So that the table surface is flat. The corner guys allow you to retrieve the ball when it goes there. They also allow you to set up the ball faster on the 2 bar. Other tables have ramps so the table surface is not completely flat.

  • Why are there 3 more blocks? On the counting system?

  • @iLemonable The match is 3/5 games. If you do end up going 5 games, you have to win by 2 points but is capped at 8 points. So the 5th game can potentially go 8-7. Also in some specialty events, or amateur events, the loser side of a double elimitation is usually one game to 7 points (race to 7).

  • Wow, Zeke, you've been one of my teachers. I learned a lot from you.

it's amazing how Collignon did you bite the dust, almost did not see that you used your 3-Bar. Collignon is not a human.

Practice a lot, soon to conquer!

  • @hetarra Yea he got on my 5, and I hardly had many shots on my 3. He is the greatest for a reason. I'll kick his butt next time ;)

  • When Rico starts hitting banks out of the back, it was more a matter of a cat playing with a ball of yarn. It sucks being the yarn.

  • You did a very nice job, respect!

  • FAKE! at 14:48 Collignon appears to make a mistake, and he clearly wouldn't do that if this was real.

  • @andyluong2008 You can spin but you cannot spin over 360 degrees. Looked like most of those were backward spins for positioning around on the 5 man.

  • @idris09 I'm pretty sure it's the Genuine Tornado Textured Foosball

  • What kind of balls do you use in professional games? I just bought some Thompson textured balls but my buddies at work are telling me the "red slick" balls are the real professional balls. They tell me the Red Thompson textured balls I bought are too slow. I disagree. I tell them better to pull of the controlled pull shots. Could you clarify?

  • Is spinning allowed in this tournament? The guy controlling the yellow team seems to spin the bar.
