WAKE UP EVERYBODY. If you think that derogatory stereotyping is something of the past. Just take a look at the TV ads. The ads are depicting the "big red lips" which you never see a face, but you hear the voice of an African American man. This is just one example. Don't allow yourselves to be bamboozled into thinking that "this is the past". We are still being portrayed in the negative. Don't try to kid yourself. Just take a look around you! Thank You Dr. Pilgrim for keeping the history alive!

I could even compare the rankism of both of those things to the rankism of the last ham sandwich you ate that was once an innocent animal. Just get a job and a degree. Work hard. Girl we are the melting pot of the world now. If you don't have Black in you or Mexican or Chinese or Jew, then youre gay, transgender, homely or learning disabled.
