  • To je ale čurák!

  • @fredrooks Could you please translate!

  • Another important point that he is missing is that Fukushima is creating the equivalent of a level six accident per month for as long as the radiation releases are not stopped.

  • @julio10004 : I hope this serves as reply to all three below:

The United Nations Scientific Committee on the Effects of Atomic Radiation (UNSCEAR), and the International Agency for Atomic Energy (IAEA), the organizations who published the Chernobyl Forum Report in 2005, in their report stated that "there is no clearly demonstrated increase in the incidence of solid cancers or leukemia due to radiation in the most affected populations."

  • @julio10004: New estimates by the Japanese authorities suggest that the total amount of radioactive materials released so far from Fukushima equals about 10% of that released in the Chernobyl, according to Hidehiko Nishiyama of Japan's nuclear regulator, the NUISA . Unlike the disaster at Chernobyl, where the reactor itself exploded and fire fanned the release of radioactive material, the containments at the four troubled reactors at the Fukushima plant remained intact over all.

  • I said: "What a dick!" Can't compete with Alex Jones' rant.

  • George Monbiot is Satan's friend!

  • He is forgetting a critical fact: Japan is one of the top Countries in designing building that are Earth Quake resistant. As soon as we get out of Japan, for instance in the last 6.0 Earth Quake in Iran, 95% of all buildings came down. So by far Fukushima is not the worst case scenario. I could be a lot worse in underdeveloped Countries like Argentina. Where even the Nuclear Industry is concerned about aging Nuclear Power Plants (ATUCHA I and II) and newer plants being built with obsolete design

  • This is such a setup. They might as well be wearing IAEA t-shirts. And even I could punch a hole in the logic of their arguments.
