  • @Democracysurewin - LASIK can be for some, but LASIK is a one way ticket, with each modification taking away more and more tissue and dry eyes and nighttime halo's still a possible complication. While this procedure looks painful, the incisions are out of the field of vision so they will not be an issue and will heal just fine. With this option, as you age you can replace the lenses to fit your prescription as it changes. I'm just waiting on the Toric version to be FDA approved and I'm next.

  • Very interesting video, today we can see more and more implantable medical devices making our lives better and giving alternative and new treatments. Visit Symposier Site where more videos on implantable medical devices are available, like "BAHA Audifono Implantable, a video about a BAHA (Bone Anchored Hearing Aid) surgery.

  • Hi I'm considering the Intacs procedure. Did you also get the C3-R treatment? Thanks

  • Dr. Boxer Wachler is amazing. I just returned from getting Intacs for severe keratoconus and plan on returning for this procedure. My eye doctors in japan are amazed by his work! I was blown away by how painless my surgery was and how cool his staff is. I was expecting the worst, but actually had a great time! He is one cool dude!

  • it is operation inplant a contact inside the eye. I think lasik is better.

  • what formula do you use ? biometry to calculate lens power

  • your right..but if your young you don't have to worry... its only if your a older patient...

i would do it any day!!! i hate putting my contacts in and out! oh and glasses another story!
