Son (Sacbe)

Sacbe is a historic Jazz band that kept Modern Jazz alive in Mexico during the mid 70's to mid 80's. The group's foundation is made up of the Toussaint brothers Eugenio, Enrique & Fernando... after disbanding they pursued individual careers in various Modern, Avant Garde, Progressive styles of music, and are pillars of the Mexican contemporary music scene.

Son elaborates the recognizable themes of traditional Mexican sones from the Central Highlands within Jazz modal and avant garde aspirations.

Sacbe, liderado por los hermanos Toussaint, es un grupo de Jazz historico que mantuvo vivo el Jazz moderno en Mexico de los 70 y 80.
