Here's the solution to the broken spawn point: In the transform of your spawn point gameobject, set the Z axis to 0. Remember, 2D side scrollers don't recognize the Z axis. You can move anywhere on the X or Y axis. Afterwards you will probably have to move everything else.

my spawn point is broken or something ... i even put in the coords of the cube i m posed to drop on it all lines up and everything but when i hit play my pill still drops way off else where on the level
