I liked this movie, despite the bad reviews. Sure the religious undertones can be pretentious, but for what its worth, it has a good original ending, where the earth does get destroyed.

This was based on the book of revelation in the bible. Science can only explain away so much. If God decided it would end like this beliveing your local keenbean ain't gonna save you....
