This show was a BLAST to do, from Balancing on a raft to shouting a welcome in several polynesian languages! But the BEST part was working with an AMAZING cast with whom I fell in love with instantly. FEEL FREE TO COMMENT!

  • That "black guy" was hand picked by the PCC staff to perform this piece. I know him well. He was raised in Laie in a Hawaiian family. He attended BYUH where he served as Vice President of the student body. While at PCC he EARNED the respect of other Polynesians - particularly the Samoans and Tongans. If you have a problem with the show, then that's a separate issue but if you have a problem with Steve, well I don't think he cares. Neither do his fellow Polynesians in the show or the community.

  • well i think it was great!

  • Bula Steve, great performance by you and Davuke, no doubt you guys are star material, I'm just not feeling the whole new style, prefer the old formats of previous shows. All in all I guess change is good and as long as the guests like it.

  • Steve you have an AMAZING voice! =D

  • The guy has a BEAUTIFUL voice, no doubt!... I'm just sad that PCC's night show has become more of a broadway production... it doesn't hold true to our true Polynesian culture. The point of PCC wasn't merely to see a good show- but to see an show representing the AUTHENITICITY that has been lost in Waikiki, Honolulu, and Hollywood... to me, PCC doesn't stand apart anymore.

  • let me give my 2 cents. i'm samoan..straight from western samoa..savaii and yes this black guy isn't polynesian, but there are 2 other polys that do the show too. pcc puts on the best the tourists pay to see. would you pay to see a junk show? i've watched the show and this guy did nothing to our cultures or identity. i think the show has helped our IWES poly students pay for college so they can become better people...think about that...ok later bro...a proud samoan..born and raised

  • Who cares?? You ask who cares!? Its the polynesian's of the islands who have realized that the authenticity of cultural presentations are in the hands of those who have aren't polynesian and who have money! Shut the *%$(* up! Obviously your not polynesian!

  • my brother do u have a problem . if u dont like it who cares...
