@sti3 great observation, the way edan rhymes throughout primitive plus (everything from the delivery, rhyme style, sound, production) is very similar to this track. edan always mentions how much late 80s rap means to him, so it wouldnt surprise me at all

Dat 2nd verse was always crazy! I think that 2nd verse sparked cats like Nas to get busy.

We from NC. However we have relatives in Mount Vernon NY. My cousin went there to visit his mother (My Aunt) back in 88'. And he brought this Marley Marl tape back with him. And he dubed it for me. I was 8 at the time, and it was my first rap album. This was my favorite track off of there. Damn it brings back memories.
