  • Great video Bill - I like the way you present.

Lots of handy tips for freezing - thanks for sharing.

  • @rickvanman - Thank you Rick! I wish I had the time to do as many vids on as many different topics as you. You are amazing! Thanks for the nice words>

  • @Zone6Bill so when you want to use and eat the spaghetti sauce the next night for dinner, how do you heat and melt the frozen spaghetti sauce? microwave or do you dump it into a pot and heat it over the stove?

  • @heomak It all depends on how much time I have. The microwave of course is the fastest. Sometimes I'll partially defrost in the sauce, then put it into the pot and thaw it the rest of the way, heating it as it goes.

  • I'm teaching my students in Japan, who are pressed for time and living on their own for the first time, about slow food and how to freeze food themselves, so they can stop relying on fast and frozen food. This is very helpful!

  • Aww your cute

  • @FocusBeam BTW My raised bed is pretty much complete. I still have to put a decent amount of dirt in it, but the soil is broken up a good 16 inches down and the bed goes up about 8 inches above the soil level. Moving all the dirt and mixing in layer after layer of amendment seemed to take forever. It looks beautiful. I don't know if I want to paint it or not. I still have bulbs to put in. Aaaaaaaahhhhh! It will be fun though.

  • You have perfect food network or home and gardens host personality! Thank you very much for the tips:)

  • Gotta love that herbal cutting board. You make me laugh so much. I hope to make some of my own videos soon. I am currently putting in a raised bed on the advice of Jerry Baker via his "Old-Time Gardening Wisdom" book because my soil is claaaaaaaaayyyyyyyy. So far I have dug the bed, bought all of the nails, landscape timbers, support beams, etc, etc that I need and cut the pieces of wood to the right length. Now to assemble tomorrow. Wish me luck!
