The overture from Gilbert and Sullivan's Mikado, which we performed in Lafayette, Indiana October 10th and 11th 2008, and reprised January 23rd and 24th is now complete. This will be the formal introduction to the DVD of our performance which was taped the final night of the show. I hope to start on the First Act before the end of this week, and thought you would all like to see your introduction, of the official Tippecanoe School Corporation Japanese Club Introduction to the HHS & MHS sponsored production. Wonderful cast.... wonderful memories. Keep singing

  • I just played in a pit orchestra for this show. GREAT show. G&S= Genious & Sell-Out.

  • Actually I find the pseudo-Japanese names for the chorus rather amusing. We live in a world today that is awash with Japanese pop culture, and it is inevitable to see it now working its way into "The Mikado".

  • What a wonderful slide show. I have played Ko-Ko numerous time, and 57 years old still do not tire of the role........

  • I think playing in pit for this would be simply amazing! I bet its a very interesting to play all the music and stuff. :)

  • It looks like a very good production, considering it's a bunch of highschoolers doing it.

  • From the stills it looks like a fine production. When giving SIR Sullivan his honorific it seems unfair to deny SIR William Gilbert the same (to which he was entitled). But who in God's name are Toyota and Suzuki, what play do they come from?

  • loved the slideshow!!!!
