What seperates the bands from the sixties, seventies and alot of the bands that came out in the eighties from the bands today is not only the music but the showmanship as well. Most bands out there today lack a stage presence. They do not look the part and it effects the whole show. Even a group like Zeppelin, stage presence was a big part of their success. In my book there will NEVER be an era for music like the sixties. No way!

For years, ten years, I desperately wanted my kit to sound exactly like Bonham's but I ended up Carmine's sound instead. I was always so bugged that I couldn't get it as 'good as Bonham's'. It took me that long to realize the reason Bonham was trying to get HIS sound.

    Killer drummer, killer band. Underrated.

Zeppelin opened for VH on many of occasions, mainly because nobody had really heard of Zeppelin yet. What a show, - 1969 - the two greatest cover bands playing one show!
