I ernjoyed this film alot

Such a moving story. Gets you thinking more like a human being and less like a pakistani or indian.

What are borders anyway ... other than an artificial line in the ground? How is a border between two countries all that different from a border between two states?

India gets its name from the Indus river which flows in Pakistan. We are not different, its we dont believe each other which causes most confusion. Politicians must learn to believe.

To all in this forum,
If u have seen the movie in you tube and enjoyed it, you would be surprised to know that the movie shown in Pakistan did not have the scene where maulvi (Naseeruddin Shah) defends Islam and denounces terrorism in the court scene. A lot of mullahs in Pakistan could not take the criticism. There was a lot of debate and that scene (the most vital in that movie with some amazing active by Shah) was deleted.
Pakistanis may want to debate here why that scene was deleted.

Every time there is a war b/w both the countries
India recieves bodies of shahid jawaans from pakistan very ill tortured ,brutally butcherred! But never from India side.And India never invaded foriegn province for the pat 10,000 years thats fact and history.

people,y politicize a film?does anybody not know that india violates human rights in kashmir?how about the 2002 gujarat genocide of muslims?or the 2008 christian genocide in orissa?not to mention the sikhs killed only cuz they wanted a khalistan to secure their rights..Amnesty International anybody?i have nothing against indians ppl,but i hav everything against their human rights abusing government...same for the U.S and israel
