I dont know why everyone's comparing this to Twilight. I'd compare it to Titanic. The only difference is that we know Rose from Titanic lived a wonderful life, so thats some sort of happy ending. But in here, we just have to hope that Winnie did :(

I'm not a fan of Twilight, but I have to admit I also saw similarities between both stories. I suspect that Tuck Everlasting, which brings such interesting reflections about life and death, might have inspired some elements of Twilight.

Okay.... so from all this talk about Twilight and New Moon I had to buy the books because I am absolutely in love with vampire novels! So, thanks... I would have never known about it!!!!
