  • @Cafishio702 Stop hallucinating, lol.

  • Napoles was a damn good fighter...but way too small for Monzon.

  • it could go either way with carlos and marvelous, seems I see carlos too busy early keeping marvelous off balance just enough to keep himself from getting knocked out after getting knocked down in the 2nd round. carlos by decision.

  • Monzon over hagler?...hmmm interesting. As much as i like King Carlos,..if he doesnt cut Hagler early,..i see Marv getting him in later rounds, unless it's an all -out war,.ala hagler Hearns. marvs athleticism and ability to switch would prob cause probs for Carlos, whom is too stand up and stiff compared to Marv, who could punch either way. Helluva matchup tho. Best two middleweights i've seen in my lifetime, for sure. Carlos' long reach would give Marv probs for sure too.

  • @strawpurchasepublish Lewis learned to "ride" punches when he took on emanual steward.Manny was a great trainer and he realized lewis' weakness is his "below average chin". Lewis rode punches after his embarrassing ko from an ex sparring partner of the classic tyson, mccall, whom tyson beat on to prepare for his 8 title defenses during the rooney/87-88 title era. It's very subtle but you can see lewis riding punches if you look carefully. This was easier for a 6'6" frame guy.

  • @fadethetrade Marshmallow chin? Watch Lewis vs Klitschko and tell me both guys don't have incredible chins.

  • Reg Gutteridge - legendary commentator. 2 Great Champions - the Bigger One beat the Smaller One

  • Napoles was a genius, but he was just too small to be in there at 160, he LOOKS like a Welterweight in there with Monzon, who was a very big middleweight

  • Hagler had life and death with duran a lightweight and leonard a welterweight and look what monzon is doing with napoles a guy who probably would have beaten either duran or leonard. King Carlos is by himself in his era.

  • @Cafishio702 MOnzon reminds me of the middleweight version of Lennox Lewis except Monzon didn't have the marshmellow chin. But I don't know about Hagler vs monzon. The hagler straight right jab was deadly and hagler did better with that jab against the taller lankier anatomy middleweights. .Monzon had a great chin but so did hagler and the leonard fight was not a good gauge that monzon would beat hagler.Leonard fought a total survival fight with a few flurries to steal the rounds.
