Jack Cascio shows how you can have deadly first step quickness through a few unique speed training drills. In order to have an explosive first step you need to teach your body to do things it's not used to doing. All of Jack Cascio's workouts will recruit more fast twitch muscle fibers to your large muscles in your body to become the most explosive athlete possible.

  • Great video but shouldn't we rotate so we're not constantly making that first jump to the right

  • @MrSuperdelicous Yes do it both right and left.

  • Great Videos, love them all so far, I just had one question... when working on your first step quickness, does it matter the distance or time you sprint after you initially explode from the static/ stand still position? Doesn't seem like the focus is on conditioning, seems to be more on exploding and training your fast twitch muscles with a variety of different moves, but I could be wrong. Can you please shine light?

  • Hey I watch ur videoes and I constantly try to get faster but I don't have the supplies and I don't have a place to do these and I can't do it in the winter and where I live in Michigan it's like 40 degrees most of the time it's 20 or thirty so I watch ur vids all the time and I want to be just as athletic as you

  • Wow, just realized i save all your videos because every single video you make is GOLD!

  • Hey Jack, could you tell me the best number of reps/sets for deadlifts/squats/lunges etc in the gym to achieve maximum results for sprinting/jumping? I am currently doing 3 sets with about 8 reps for each but i would love to know what would be the best. thanks!!!

  • where is the hot girl you was saying you would bring back? nice video

  • Wow, Jack. This is great. I'm looking forward to buying the actual twice the speed program on my birthday. Can't wait. :P
