The casual observer cannot help but be overwhelmed upon his arrival to a place as 'foreign' as Kolkata, India. Sensory overload was achieved within minutes through all five senses. A place that made Bangkok seem quiet, clean and organized left me gasping for air and stumbling about looking for a new destination.
The 'meat market' in the video is an everyday occurrence in Kolkata and you can only imagine it on a hot day. I spent 6 days in Kolkata trudging around in mud only to find out on the fifth day, a day of scorching hot temperatures that I was not trudging around in mud.
@subinoyful stop being so divisive. this bangal ghoti division is disappearing due to mixed marriages...

I'm surprised to note that the video-maker didnt see anything but selling of fluttering chickens n fish, wounded street dog and vehicles on the road. Nothing else to see in one day ? Hmm, I have to cancel my Kolkata trip, Im afraid. Who says its a city of joy ?.........
