  • I remember playing Spellbound on my friend's Spectrum 48K when I was a nipper but never realised that it was part of a bigger series of games. This looks like a lot of fun and as a fan of Jet Set Willy and Citadel on my Electron I'm sure I would have enjoyed this had I had a Spectrum myself.

  • @gamerslivingroom This is one of my favourite games as a kid... I think it might even be my fav Speccy game of all time?? Probs not the best made one but one I remember playing over and over again as a kid. ANd the box art I just loved! Never did complete it as a kid though ;o)

Thanks for watching these videos by the way and for commenting ;o)

  • @interghost It's very much the same for me and Citadel on the Electron. It wasn't until I played it in my late twenties via emulation on the PC that I managed to finally beat in. I really want to go back and actually beat it on the original system but my tape drive is shagged, as you've already seen from my video on it. I wish I could program in a modern (or old) programming language as I'd love to make an updated HD version of that game.

  • @gamerslivingroom Not sure if its possible on the Electron, but on the Speccy I know you can load the ROMs back into Tape files on your PC and then save them onto a ipod, you then plug the ipod into your computer and load it from there? This way you can play on the original computer but saving all the games on the ipod? There are video for how to do it on the Speccy... might be worth looking in to? ;o)

  • Used to play this all the time when I was a kid but never knew what I was meant to be doing !!

  • @fannyboz77 I think that was the case with a lot of old speccy games... no one ever read the instructions lol ;o)
