James Dobson's assertion that "two mommies is one too many" doesn't tell the whole story, according to one of the researchers Dobson quoted. Author and family relationships expert Dr. Kyle Pruett feels that Dobson "cherry picked" his research to support highly dicriminatory views.

  • Mr Dobson is NOT a Preacher NOR a Doctor.

  • The point here is that anti-gay, pro-bigotry groups will go to any means to promote their anti-gay agenda. The research showed that children do better with a father and a mother, instead of just a mother or just a father. The research did not show that children do not do just as well with TWO same-sex parents. Since anti-gay activists can find so little research to back up their point of view, they must resort to twisting and distortion.

  • Dobson disgusts me. Im doing a speech for my speech class on this subject. This is something I am extremely passionate about I am straight but so many of my friends arent and want to have and love children despite their orientation

  • I'm guess that Dobson is a closet case. So many who speak so loudly

against same sex relationships tend to be. Dobsob, come on out of the

closet, stand alongside recent outed person "Professor George Alan Rekers,

and learn to enjoy life, instead of making it so damned difficult for gay

    people.

  • @burntflybog

Well, the Bible does forbid the eating of shellfish.

  • @rextrek well, he technically is a doctor... however, a kooky one at that, and a disgrace to the scientific community.

  • I don't believe it's selfish, to eat defenseless shellfish.

  • Not quite. Anarchy is the complete lack of any government. I don't think it's actually attainable. As soon as a group formed and started asserting its will on everyone else, that would be a form of government.

Mob rule democracy is simply government which is ruled by popular vote, without regard and to the detriment of minorities.

  • isn't "mob rule democracy" anarchy? I think we're rather descending into olegarchy, not anarchy though.

  • Might be what they taught you in school, but getting the higher ups to adhere to it these days is a challenge. The constitution is what keeps us from degenerating into a pure mob rule democracy. Ignore it, and we lose our republic.

  • Bible or no bible, I'm proud to live in a country where the CONSTITUTION is our supreme law. I don't desire sex with my own gender, but I quite love shellfish.

  • Amazing even the scientists have been able to prove the Bible to be true. If you believe there is no God, you better be right because there are no atheists in "you know where"
