@learkur - Yes, I found the problem. Because I'm using an older system with an older browser, YT gives me a stripped-down page where it doesn't work. If I ignore the warning about an unsupported browser and go to the normal page, it works. Unfortunately their latest change to the player has introduced a massive memory leak on older versions of Windows, which makes it completely impractical for me to watch videos on the site anymore. Unless I want to crash my system...
