Fallout 1 Review

I go over the good and bad points. Go ahead and buy the game from gog.com or gametap.

I edited out some of my rambling so the video went from over 14 mins to under 9.

It's a really great game, very fun! Lot's of freedom, lots of dialog, cool story, engaging game play.

good review. i havent played 1 or 2 but y do most ppl who played FO 1 & 2 hate FO3? i thought it was pretty damn good game. there's GNR, open world, plethora of memorable characters, one of my all time favorites

When Fallout first came out it was REALLY original. There weren't so many post apocalyptic games, not so many zombie games, and a lot fewer non-traditional RPGs. The setting has been emulated and copied so many times since then. The story in Fallout was really a lot more fleshed out and subtle than FO3 as well. FO3 is still a great and fun game, just didn't impact me as strongly.

Well Fallout 1 and 2 are for people who are realy intrested in rpgs while fallout 3 is for the bang bang shoot kill demographic see fallout 1 and 2 in my opinion is better than fallout 3

Gears and the Fallout games are totally different. Gears is a shooter. Fallout is an RPG. You shouldn't even compare them.

i know fallout 3 and new vagas had better graphics and a better gameplay veiw, but fallout 1,2 tactics basicly all the older ones had a longer and bestter story line to it especially fallout1 the. The old fallouts are just classics and are the best games i have ever played

Youre right! Great game for being so old. Almost everything is good except the very bad objective infos, slow gameplay, and that all people look the same in a way, an important character looks the same as a useless character. Makes is so slooow to play. But its fun enough to make you keep on playing! :)

Fallout was the unofficial follow-up to a Commodore 64 cRPG called Wasteland, that came out in 1987! I still have my copy of the game for my Commodore 64 and it's still great!

This and every other reviewer says "Diablo" because they don't know the word "isomeric"!
