This is how you prepare eels for baking! This practice has been done for centuries by my ancestors the Mi'kmaq. The art of night fishing for eels is slowly in danger of fading and needs to be preserved for our future generations of L'nu children. You comb the beaches off our salt water lake the Bras D'Or with a boat affixed with a lantern in the front and with a spear in hand the hunt for eels in low lying waters begins by the moon light.....

Kwe, I haven't had baked eels since I was a kid. Thanks for the memories :). I think I'm the only vegan Mi'kmaq in the world though :)
