if your getting minimum wage, that is not a good paying job. even if they raised it to say.................$8.00, thats not good paying to afford a house, college and future.

@Insangelouslive If you apply your logic of raising the minimum wage to taxes, then the value of the dollar would increase. Therefore, higher taxes wouldn't affect anyone. I seriously doubt you'd ever believe that. Just pointing out how flawed your logic is on minimum wage decreasing the value of the dollar.

Michigan raised was one of those 18 states who raised minimum wage. So did the rest of the rust belt. Hell they have been raising minimum rage as fast and as much as their jobs have been heading to the states that have not raised minimum wage. If Texas, or the rest of the states all raised minimum wage, more jobs would leave the country. I would rather make 5 bucks an hour than no job at all.
