In this video, you can learn how to create custom cursors. Full instructions are available below.

1. Download Paint.net and Paint.net addon.
2. Paste the DLL from the addon into the Paint.net "Filetypes" folder.
3. Open up Paint.net and create a cursor.
4. Crop all around the cursor using the magic wand.
5. Save it as a CURSOR FILE to a location you will remember.
6. Copy and than paste it into the WINDOWS cursor folder in your main drive.
7. Assign it from Control Panel, Mouse, Pointers Tab.

U dont need the ddl. u can just rename it to 'Yourname.cur' then it works 2

@samfoppen1 Well that's a little uncalled for. It worked for everyone else, I did check both the links, the CNET one was down for some reason. I relinked it. But still, super uncalled for. You're the asshole for taking the time to call me names instead of just google searching it.

I've seen multiple comments and gotten messages asking this question. It has nothing to do with the cursor making. It is simply a function of the screen recorder I use to be able to put a yellow translucent circle around my cursor. It's there to highlight the cursor so you don't lose track of it.
