The first I ever hard of the Cape Breton revue was on a recording of the Eric McEwan Show on Maritine Radio (taped and sent to Scotland) Jo Anne Rose, Beverly McGillivary, Raylene Rankin, Maynard Morrison, Max MacDonald and Kenzie MacNeil singing Out on the Mira. Nice to see Maynard Morrison for the first time ever.

@cococbdmh You might be able to find some at the Beaton Institute at Cape Breton University....they have an archive of a lot of older stuff (like this). That would be your best bet I think. I have been looking for a recording of "Remember the Miner" performed by Max MacDonald written by Leon Dubinsky....today is Davis Day and I wanted to listen to it....I'm pretty sure everything is on YouTube except Summertime Revue - very hard to find! They were awesome shows, indeed!

aww such a nice clip, everyone in this video was somehow a part of my life at some point and time, Mr. Morrison still recognizes me more than 15yrs later and my heart still throbs a little for 'Real World' too.
