The Cosby Show was and still is one of the greatest sitcoms in television history. It ran for 8 seasons from 1984-1992.

In this episode:
Slide tries to convince Pam to sleep with him. He insists that all of their friends are sexually active, including Lance and Charmaine. Pam asks Charmaine why she didn't confide in her about this. Charmaine insists that it is a lie, and publicly confronts Lance.

There is nothing worng with wanting something better. Why when people who grew up in the hood or projects make a better life for themselves those who still in the hood or projects but them down. It sad that in 2010 some black peopel act like that all black people are just suppose to be poor and hood!

@lachondria81 because not 2 b rasist cuz i am black but that is all white people allow them to b my mom is a lawyer and my dad works 4 the hospital an we live in a 2 story house because 1. my parents r hard working and 2. they didnt allow rasism 2 tell them how 2 live our lives so its a choice and it has a lot 2 do with how people infuenced them

Yeah. I love Pam and Charmaine. That is the kind of world I knew as a young black person, not the world of rich blacks like the Huxtables or their near perfect children. I bet Pam or Charmaine were more likely to know what it was like to come home and hurry to their room hoping that their drunk father wouldn't know they were home to aggrivate them. I guess I can just relate to Pam, Charmaine, and their friends more. They were my reality, and the Huxtables were my dream.
