A 1970 2 door Volvo Amazon. It originally looked a little tatty around the edges but is in fact pretty solid.

I've replaced the original B20 with in a B20F engine from a latter 142, adding a M-410 gearbox (with overdrive) and webbers, plus giving the brakes and suspension an overhaul along with a fresh coat of paint and lot's of other goodies. I simply wanted to make this an every day car with a little bit more power and speed.

There still a little work to be done but for now I just want to put some miles on the clock.

  • well, actually they were sort of right...it did foul the steering column a little. The engine had to be tilted at a slight angle to get it right, but that caused other problems.

So in the end we had to go with shorter trumpets (Rob from Amazon Cars had them made), now they work a treat.

  • 2 карбюратора?

  • I'll bear that in mind if I decide to go the Weber route. Thanks for the info :D

  • Interesting video chap. According to the 'experts' you can't fit Webers to a RHD without fouling the steering column. Looks like they were wrong........

  • Nice!
