I was there and it was such a great event.
I remember cancelling my wedding once the date was released and im so glad i did.
Me and my mate slept (shivered all night) at the front gate and we were one of the first in and got right down to the front.
The weather was awful and it was so bloody cold but im so glad i went.
Steve Hackett DID come on but only at the encore.
AND YES i did still get married but had to rearrange it all for the the following weekend.

@TruNordics14 Oops, never mind :) I remember thinking it brought the band and the audience closer. If I'd been more cynical I might have thought, "What, they didn't rehearse?" Now I'm older, I'm thinking, "Why didn't you amateurs rehearse?", and "Get off my lawn, you hippies!". Just kidding, but I moved to the U.S. since then, and I don't travel 150 miles by motorbike to concerts any more. But I was there! Also for a Steve Hackett concert - ok but not as memorable as this one.

@yoochoobb Well I am green with envy. Meant I enjoyed the sing along heard on this vid, I wasn't there :-(
-
@TruNordics14 Ha! I was there too, and I remember the audience helping out with the lyrics, the one feature that stands out for me. Great concert, only time I saw Gabriel perform with them. The motorbike ride home to Nottingham, not so great.

@BrainiacFingers I rather enjoyed the audience sing along! they filled in the words Pete forget and helped disguise his not quite in pitch moment(s) lol. This really up to any level of critique? ie: wtf song is Stuermer playing in the mid parts of T. M. Box? For a boy who grew up in Texas "Watching The Skies" and listening to John Wayne, singing along at this event would have been like watching a floating shiny metallic object evaporate into thin air.

My mate's cousin whose Dad's old milkman's nephew's best friend has got a copy, but it's locked away in a secret vault on Jupiter.
Set for dvd and blu-ray release in 2077.
Can't wait!

Totally ruined by the desperately sad sing-along mentality of the audience. Okay, you all know the words, now shut the fuck up and listen....
-
@athrough0 Me too.... the best intro ever written...

I like the reference to Stagnation in "I know what I like"
-
I die a little inside every time I hear them skip the piano solo on Firth of Fifth

I was reading about this and Genesis said they wanted it to be a one off event and not to be filmed.
@daonfpe
The Timeline is correct, only the last five song marks do not work.
