"12 inches of snow fell on what seemed like an [english term] summer's day." ... in july. That's CRAZY. Wouldn't think of bringing my snowboard to catch some fresh pow when I'm heading up into the rockies for some camping in the middle of summer lol

Survivorman is more entertaining, but Ray covers all bases. Just wish he'd throw in more backstory or something

And as far as "Bear" is concern he did gave a bit good advice compared to Les though...he said make lot of noise while going through jungle and better to go in large group ..single person is more prone to bear attacks than large groups...

Ray shows what peopel can do if they have some knowlage of the wild... Les teaches the "Average Joe" what they could do in a scenario when things don't go quite their way. Bear is a tard who bites the heads off animals with no respect for nature in any way, and he trys to put himslef off as the real deal when he is not His show sould be called

OMG!! Ray Mears is the real deal...i found his videos far far far more educational than freaking "Les" and "Bear's" survival shows.
"Les" is just a one man show and "Bear" is simply pumped up freak of nature who will eat anyhting..lol
The advice Ray gave about the bears is really fantastic while on the other hand "Les" only says "well hopefully they will leave me alone"..and no concrete advice just simple words..
