  • Haas anybody noticed that this riff is lifted from Hypothermia - "Isolation"? Couldn't be any more obvious! lol..

  • @DeepestSleep Hypothermia "Veins" album release date September 2006, Enochian Crescent "Black Church" album release date 22 February 2006. Check your facts before assuming anything.

  • @JeFumeDeLaSalvia

Cross as a symbol predates christianity both as a religious symbol or as an ornament so this point could be extended to question the validity of the use the cross even as a christian symbol - early christians did not use the symbol and Jesus (if he even existed) was put up on a torture stake - not a cross.

  • @SaturnSpectre

But, as it is the cross is nowadays recognized as the main christian symbol and inversion of that cross is as widely recognized as an anti-christian symbol. In my eyes it is an anti-christian statement in the modern context.

  • @SaturnSpectre Good call, and fair as well. This is a lesson that keeps presenting itself to me, to not assume. It was in the back of my head as I posted that comment, but didn't follow the hunch. I will leave my embarrasing comment above and live with the shame! ;P Thanks for pointing that out.

  • @SaturnSpectre It actually was a cross. Romans used the cross as a symbol of shame, so when someone commited a crime they would be debased infront of all people who attended. If you look at anything in terms of geometric value, and esp when it's simple, you will find that all cultures have assigned to them some value.

  • @JeFumeDeLaSalvia lol dumbass

  • @JeFumeDeLaSalvia Jesus upsidedown makes him Saint Peter?

  • An artistic, and beautiful music video in black metal? This is a first....
