Inspired by the Universal Studios film montage, Part 3 features romance, dancing, guns & knives and such. I originally made this 50-minute montage back in 2002, using two VCRs. Stay tuned for all 5 parts here on YouTube.

  • I'm starting a petition to stop U. Pictures from remaking Hitchcock's The Birds. Go to my profile and read all the information u need about how to sign the petition. I, for one, think it's an insult to remake such a classic.

  • Not sure what you mean. I am not remaking Hitchcock's The Birds. Please explain.

  • The film is "Young and Innocent" from 1937. This is one of Hitch's most famous shots. He used a crane, the camera moving high above the crowd of dancers and guests in a grand ballroom, until the crane stops with the camera still far away from the band that is playing the song "The Drummer Man". Then Hitchcock slowly zooms in on the band, closer and closer, all the way to a tight shot on the drummer's eyes. This one continous shot is a touch of genius from the Master of Suspense.

  • What film is the long, continous zoom-in shot (with no edit) in? It starts at aprox. 4:10 and ends with a super close-up of the "drummer man"'s eyes? Awesome work by Hitchcock, to be sure!!!

  • See my comment above for the answer.

  • The scene at 8:50 from Spellbound is one of the most terrifying things I've ever seen.

  • @ncmtman This demonstrates why it is important for people to learn how to write an entire word.

  • I didn't say it was you. I was talking about Universal Pictures. They're remaking it. Martin Campbell is going to direct it.

  • Thanks!! Excellent work by him. Good job on this video...I've seen all 5 parts of this tribute you've made.
