The film is "Young and Innocent" from 1937. This is one of Hitch's most famous shots. He used a crane, the camera moving high above the crowd of dancers and guests in a grand ballroom, until the crane stops with the camera still far away from the band that is playing the song "The Drummer Man". Then Hitchcock slowly zooms in on the band, closer and closer, all the way to a tight shot on the drummer's eyes. This one continous shot is a touch of genius from the Master of Suspense.

What film is the long, continous zoom-in shot (with no edit) in? It starts at aprox. 4:10 and ends with a super close-up of the "drummer man"'s eyes? Awesome work by Hitchcock, to be sure!!!
