I do not believe this. After Dark with Donnie Sutherland in the early to mid 80s . Every episode ended with a killer track around 1am. The best of all was TV Cabaret by X. I've seen X live 4 times over the years but they never played this song. This is the 1st time I've heard it since about 1984-85. I'm so excited I've wet myself. Just need XL Capris to do the Channel 7 sign off with 'My City of Sydney' now to completely relive the moment. Furniture by Norman Ross.

Fuck i miss this band. This lineup exceptional but sadly short lived. I grew up on the Rilen,Lucas,Green lineup. This is a lost gem and blew my mind to see it. After 25 years of live gigs this band would still own 3 of my top 5 gigs of all time. Nobody in the world could come close to this band on a good night.Thanks for the posting.

What a great find, didn't expect to see this. Years ago I read they made a clip for 'I Don't Wanna Go Out' filmed on an upper floor of the partially constructed police headquarters in Sydney, but the clip had gone missing.

This is the original "X" now channelled through the last man standing, Steve Lucas, brilliant band, and some of this original material eventually will be on CD..we can't wait.

The only album available form these guys that I've found is Aspirations and, this song isn't on it. Although, I did find and import Australian version, but it didn't list the songs.
Anyone know where one could get the song on CD?
