Krakatoa S01E03 - How the Earth Was Made - History Channel
A look at the geologic history of the Krakatoa volcano in Indonesia, the 1883 eruption which spawned a tsunami that took tens of thousands of lives, and how another, possibly more powerful eruption, could happen again.
I prefer these kind of programs over the reality shows that now dominate the channel.

well actually yellowstone supervolcano can produce 15% of the suns power and this volcanos mother or father could do 5% of the suns power only cause it didnt doesnt mean it cant so you should be happy :)

Eh...the guy says the volcanos indicate "forces at work that far exceed anything mankind could construct."
Not really. The largest nuclear weapon ever detonated temporarily released 1% of the power of the sun. The SUN. It hugely exceeded the entire power of everything on earth at that moment. And that was just the biggest thing the Russians cared to drop from a bomber. If we wanted to get silly piling uranium on top of a hydrogen bomb can create an explosion as big as you want.

@GlennJamesScott although dweeby high school science teachers teach people like you that "the metric is the way of the world", this is definitely not the case.
