Very good balanced look, Eifach. "Addiction" is tossed around too frequently. As the subject says, what if I was a professional football player/network tech/academic? I use Second Life as an artistic medium; the network/net/web has been my life's work and study. I have made a living off my knowledge of the net. Yes, I spend a great deal of time on the network; should I spend the same time on fantasy football leagues or television? As an adult, you are free to choose your life.
