British Council for the second time introduced International Young Music Entrepreneur award in Latvia (IYME) in order to find the brightest stars in the international music industry, recognising the importance of entrepreneurs in driving forward the music industry, developing their independent sector and promoting the best of what's going on in their local scene.
IYME 2011 award was won by Inese Saulaja, copyright manager of MicRec Publishing & hip-hop artist Gustavo manager!
As the second best finalist jury nominated Liva Petersone, Instrumenti manager, but third place was taken by Linda Lezdiņa in public known as Linda Leen.
In this video finalists and jury were asked to answer how they see the Latvian music industry, what qualities a music entrepreneur should have and how such awards affect and improve music industry as such.
