Davi Archuleta and David Cook are great contestants. They both sound amazing. But, I think that America should've listened more to the two divas of the competitions : Syesha Mercado and carly Smithson! These two should've gotten more respect and recgonition than they did!! If it was up too me these 2 ladies would've been the final two. I'm happy for the winner, but I think that Archuleta and Cook's cotes came mostly from populaarity contests as weell as Jason Castro!!

Completely agree with you cbotten106. Carly should have been in the final and won it. She is an amazing talent, with a fantastic voice. America got it completely wrong. I cannot wait to buy her CD when it comes out. As well as being blessed with a fantastic vocal range, she is a beautiful, sexy looking woman with the most amazing eyes. I could listen to her talk 24/7 with that irish accent. Keep smiling Carly, you will succeed in the music business, that is for certain.

I am not kidding when I say this. But the show was lost without her. I still think the finale should have been her and Cook. They were the most talented and unique people there. There voices are different each performance. Unlike Castro, who people left safe instead. She should have took the crown. I'm sorry if people don't respect my opinion, but everyone is intitled to there own. And, I do bet tons of people agree!

I had to quit watching after seeing how subpar the balance of the cast is without the star, Smithson, there. Whoever wins the title of American Idol this year won't have the vocal ability or lyrical interpretive skills of the woman interviewed here, that I can guarantee. Honestly, I think she was the best ever to set foot on an Idol stage.

we miss carly on AI, too... but happy to see her in interviews and soon on the AI finale and i'm sure she'll prepare to make her own CD, so watch out for that!
