To clarify.. the U.S. and many under UN are living under fascist type rule. Has anyone noticed how tv and news media has become exponentially dumber? The manipulation into war by one party, manipulation into intrusive, overreaching govt by the other. Actually,either party does both. Both have unobjective aholes on tv,web, newspapers trolling, maligning, slandering, and using false projections against anyone that may speak of ''conspiracies'' The nut jobs are the smart ones Think Idiocracy

the quacksquad would be saying evil corporations paid this guy off yet they scream about fascism. Thats govt/corp alliances that manipulate flow of money through setting govt agendas. I dont recall the deniers setting the agenda. CONGRATS progressives. You are suckers for fascism in one of the worst ways. Even if you disagree with BasicSpace42 (and I don't say he is necessarily right), you should let him talk and not silence him.

There is such a thing as climate change . In fact the climate is always in flux. At present temperatures are flat lining or even slightly cooling. Up until 1998 temperatures had been rising for about 30 years, previous to that they had been falling for about 30 years. Looking into my crystal ball ( stolen from the university lab), I would say that we are entering another phase of cooling.

@Joe11Blue "It's a Meteorologist, with some Astro-Physic's courses tacked on." No, its not the same thing at all. You can't just study two science fields and call yourself an expert on a third one.
And yes, a one year prediction is a short term prediction. Real Climatologists don't even bother with this. They make predictions about AVERAGE temperatures over serveral years and decades, not about the weather in winter and summer.

@BasicSpace42 Had you actually looked the guy up, you'd be aware that he's also an Astrophysicist. I've looked up the whole Degree under the term Climatologist, guess what it's the same thing. It's a Meteorologist, with some Astro-Physic's courses tacked on. Sort of makes you feel like a fool, eh?
Short Term? He predicts a year out, when you Climate Change scam artists can't even make it past 4 days

@Joe11Blue You are aware that Piers Corbyn isn't even a climatologist, but a meteorologist? And do you know that nobody in the world cares about Al Gores opinion on climate change because he is not a scientist? (Just like nobody should care about Piers Corbyns opinion)
Piers Corbyn should keep making his short term weather predictions and stop pretending to be an expert in global warming! Instead of trusting a weather forecaster you should listen to real climatologists.
