-Yes..
These are MOST LIKELY the first two songs from the "Lost" SlipKnot Album Crowz...
-The song Slipknot is a demo of S/T's (Sic)
This version has the same lyrics but has a guitar solo.Gently is the same as the MFKR version.
-This is the band lineup at this time,
Corey Taylor-Vocals
Joey Jordison-Drums
Shawn Crahan-Percussion
Chris Fehn-Percussion
Josh Brainard-Guitar
Mick Tomson-Guitar
Paul Gray-Bass
Craig Jones-Samples Media Keyboard
Sid Wilson - DJ
-This is 1998, shortly after the "Lost" Crowz album. The band was still shaking from the sudden loss of Anders, their first vocalist. The band was making due with what they had.The Omaha Nebraska show (AKA The Ranch Bowl) was the bands first taste of success. Then , of course, they got signed and moved on, but for right now, this is the rawest material to date.

  • your story for who played this show is a little incorrect, its impossible for Chris and Josh to play a show together. Josh left on Brandon's first and only show which is this show. after James replaced Josh and Chris replaced Brandon. so there for this is Brandon playing the show not Chris.

  • @x9draven9x I think you're mistaken. Josh Brainard didn't leave until their S/T was recorded which was months after this show. Brandon replaced Anders and was replaced by Cuddles and Cuddles was replaced by Chris. Yes, this is Chris playing here (the videos of this show clearly shows him jacking off his mask)

  • this is a live version of sic do you not know your slipknot songs?

  • @mccune2weak Read the description.

  • Wow. I wish I could hear Corey singing "Slipknot" or "Hearache and A Pair of Scissors". Just out of ciriousity.

  • I have a little sample of "Slipknot" with Corey on vocals on my page.

  • @KnotTime sorry you are wrong. Brandon replaced Cuddles who was fired, Brandon played one show, and only intended on being a temp. Chris replaced Brandon, took the liar mask and never played a show ever with josh. Brandon's first show as i said was Josh's last show. Josh and Chris never played a show together. Check out the MFKR site. =)

  • (sic) with Anders in Vocals?

  • wut wuz the smaple at the beginning of tha song??????

  • @theheavyheadbanger

if you knew where to look, this entire set (VIDEO) has been circulating for about 8 years. If you think THIS is precious, you should see my collection. Stuff that will NEVER be seen/heard on youtube.

  • This isn't how the 97 SR Audio Demo (aka Crowz) starts out.

This was only done in shows in the summer of 98, and was their general intro to their set (which at the time, started with Surfacing) what's posted here is a mix of the intro, then Slipknot/Gently edited into it.

The real version of this song starts out like a mix of MFKR and the S/T album. The samples, etc. from MFKR as well as the entire speech that "The whole thing I think is sick" came from.

  • @jaclynes You serious?
