Trayvon Martin Attorney to Geraldo: You're Embarrassing Your Son Again With Latest Hoodie Comments

Geraldo Rivera has been sticking to his talking points that if Trayvon Martin had not been wearing a hoodie, he may not have been shot and killed by George Zimmerman and that "dressing like a wannabe gangster" contributed to his death. On his show this Sunday evening, Rivera was called out for his blame the victim game by Martin's attorney, who chastised Rivera for embarrassing his son again with the hoodie remarks and likened his justification of the Martin shooting to those who would justify rape by blaming the victim for what clothing they were wearing.

That's the whole message here, i.e. that Martin wasn't responsible for his own criminal actions, but all blame goes to Zimmerman for stopping his car and getting out.

He was on PRIVATE PROPERTY which he was authorized to patrol, while Martin wasn't; so his only right to be there would be a right of PASSAGE, not to loiter or otherwise invoke plausible deniability for suspect behavior.

FACT: it took Martin 45 minutes to go the 300 feet from the 7-11 to the place where Zimmerman first saw him.

Or when the PERP is black and the victim is not.

This was a clear-cut case of deadly assault by a prowler caught in the act, and Zimmerman was the victim.

And like the saying goes, "a grand-jury properly convened will indict a ham sandwich;" but here it didn't even go to a grand jury, but a hanging prosecutor up for re-election in a majority-black district within 2 weeks of the murder-charge.

But for some reason, nobody mentions ANY connection after more than a year.

And anyway, what if Zimmerman DID want to make a citizen's arrest or detention?

These TM-supporters are destroying their cause and credibility by making a paranoid carte-blanche to attack anyone they feel like it.

Zimmerman is only on trial because he got Nifonged during an election-year when blacks were screaming bloody murder for frivolous prosecution; so Zimmerman is being DENIED DUE PROCESS in violation of the 14th Amendment, AND equal protection because he's "white."
