  • you have accent x_x

  • Very informative.Thanks!

  • the double consonent following a vowel rule is the same in english, so easy to remember in french.

  • So:

There are two ways the French vowel 'O' can be pronounced as the English vowel 'O'; with a circonflexe, and when followed by a double consonant. It is otherwise pronounce as a short, hollow 'o', and when -eau is present, it is also pronounced as a short, hollow 'o'.

    Correct?

  • oh that is how you pronounce the hat O. I seen that little hat over the Es too. :D
