@KkF00 Why would you need top speed higher?? it is car to use in offroad terain where you go maximum 20kmh anyway..you need strong car which will have no diffuculty to climb up really steep hill even if fully charged with different kind of stuff. Why would you need new design on a car which will be cover in mud 300 days a year anyway.. you need sth to drive you and sth you can rely on and this is job which Lada does perfectly for the lowest amount of money needed

2011? Looks like an American 1980's vehicle. 85HP and a top speed of 88MPH? Is slower than an 80's vehicle.
Seems like Russians are really behind in the times.

i was thinking about buying one and making it into a luxury vehicle. replace the rims but with sensible ones not those HUGE ones, lower the ride height to normal saloon height change the engine to a Ford ECOboost V6 change the drivetrain to RWD add electric windows sound proof it add a good audio system add 4 separate leather seats custom design a dashboard and of course a fully waxed and cleaned ultra glossy Black paint job this would pretty much mean changing everything but it'll look cool

Oh how I wish they sold these in Australia... though knowing you can buy them in the UK again at least gives me some hope for the future.

I love the horn - and finally I find a car with the KEY on the correct side (being a left handed person) it just makes sense to me. I understand that the NIVA is a very strong reliable, virtually indestrucable vehicle, true?

The Niva is a fine 4x4 and it's cool they still make them. The best car VAZ ever produced no doubt! :)
