2008 Fit Acceleration 5MT, drop-in only

L15A1 5MT powertrain, 100% stock save the k&n filter, valvoline 5w20 conventional oil. Not fast, but quick enough for a car that has averaged 36 mpg for the first 5000 miles of its life.

do you feel any difference with the k&n filter? any noticeable increase in power/acceleration?

a little more responsive under part throttle. Full throttle is pretty much the same. Only in there because OEM filter = $30 every year or two and this = $50 once.

GD3 (as above): L15A1 engine, 109bhp@5800, 105 lb-ft@4500

GE8 ('09 model): L15A7 engine, 117bhp@6600, 106 lb-ft@4800

0-60 of either car is anywhere from 8.3 sec to 9.5 sec depending on which magazine you read.

I have this car and it isnt the fastest or the slowest but it makes up for the handling on turns. The only thing thats a drag is when people load in your car and the engine just screams for more power...

People talk shit about this car cause the tiny engine but 1.5l can pull a 1 ton car with ease :)

Take out the back seats, AC and it gets even better...
