The Republic of Korea Air Force participates in Red Flag - a multinational exercise designed to enable Allied forces to fight together in the most realistic way possible. Held at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada, the two-week exercise involves around 1,200 aircraft flying over 20,000 sorties. Although the ROKAF has participated in Red Flag twice before, this was their first opportunity to put their new Boeing F-15K Slam Eagles to the test. @apole7 Brazilian Air Force, the best air force in the South America? Please! the Brazilian government is so inept and incapable of deciding which combat aircraft will be the one protecting their airspace this decade. More than 10 years have passed already since the F-X program was announced and no official decision has been made (apparently Dassault Rafale may be too expensive to operate and France is unwilling to share technology with their Brazilian counterparts).

@BRIANROX1 As you know, AN/AAS-42 IRST is installed to F-15K. Our F-16C/D Block 32 is upgraded to be appropriate to operate AIM-120 AMRAAM & JDAM. And, Our plan to upgrade KF-16(Korean F-16C/D Blok 52D) with installing AESA(RACR or SABR radar), advanced mission computer and so on is going on now.
I wish your F-X program make a good fruition which make Brazilian Air Force(the best air force in the Southern America) more stronger.
