@jessethetank1 Yeah, I really wish it was that easy. I did see a doctor, which was a bill of $2600, and after 2 months, I nor the pharmacist could get a hold of him, resulting in me having to stop my medicines. So now I have to dish a few more couple hundred when I'm done being poor, and I'm one of the lucky ones who has insurance.

My parents don't know I cut myself... They don't even know I'm depressed but they will get angry at me and would say to stop faking but I don't want to ask for help because I don't knowif it really is depression.... Are you depressed when your never hungry and skip breakfast and lunch or are you just growing up?

@bigreddedez With depression it's really common for your appetite to fluctuate. It's one of the signs of depresison, either weight loss or weight gain.

I think parents should not get madd when they find out their kid is cutting themselves...... I got my ass kicked when they saw me!!! They don't even stop to think that they are the ones that caused me to do it!!!!!!

The people i know who turn to self harming doesent usually have understanding parents. If they did they would have been taught better ways of coping with suffering since we learn how to deal with our emotions from the people we grow up with.

If your problem really go down to the possibility of a car ride to the psychologist, I can tell you you're building yourself the walls that keeps you from being free... Don't be affraid to tell your parents how you really feel. Modern day has brainwashed everybody in a way that makes us believe that we can't expect help from our close one. Here's a quick tip : We always have call them "close one" because they are your blood... They won't let you down... no matter what...

my camp director saw my scars and called my mom and asked her if i was cutting myself....Not a good way for my mom to find out
