wanted to relay a personal message about a song he wrote"grandfather's hat" I just lost my father this April to cancer, i never got to know my grandfather, in the music business so you know how touching one song can be to any one single or million's of people. I have been putting off going through allot of my father's things since April. Not anymore,

I was very touched to hear some songs Jeff had on an album my wife got for me today. she got to meet him at an r.v dealership where he was between gigs in Columbia Missouri. I sent her back with my guitar that he graciously signed for me! It's a special guitar signed by buddy guy, robin trower, willie nelson, eric bibb, eric johnson, kenny wayne shepard, bob weir, ronnie baker brooks. and now Mr. Daniel's:)

Met Jeff at the Ramsdell Theater in Manistee, Michigan. He is one great person, "signed some autographs had a few laughs." Thank you Jeff for five minutes of your life. Dave Morton
i know how it feels when someone close to you dies. my grandfather died a week ago. 2 years ago he gave me a hat. i wore it every chance i got, later replaced it with a new hat i bought. the moment i found out he had a stroke i switched back to his hat, and now i'm not replacing it for anything in the world. i found this song while looking if there is anything on the tube worth dedicating to him. found this. RIP gramps. may you watch the house you built, from the ground up, from above.
