Hey guys, this is my drum cover of Coldplay's song Yellow. Please rate & comment.
This is my first recording of me playing my new Roland TD9 KX2. I set up a custom kit for the song. I didn't do any post processing or triggering except mixing the drum recording.

@theMattmcdShow Hmm actually, I totally forgot about that function. And it seems alot more simple than i thought haha

@Cannibalcorpse55 I haven't gotten my set yet but if I'm correct this is probably a quick record function built into the drum module - basically you'll see he has a usb key plugged into the top of the module and not only is he able to play the actual song from it through his headphones, but he can also record the drum audio and save it on to the usb key.

Nice cover. I was wondering what you need to connect the kit to your PC for recording the sound etc?

@Cannibalcorpse55 @theMattmcdShow Matt is totally correct. Here's how I do my recordings: I play along to the track on my usb stick while using the quick record feature of the roland drum brain. Then I record the drum track by itself on my PC (via the audio output on the drum brain). I then mix the drum track with the original song or drumless song (depending on what I have available).

@CraackKills Thanks man. I do have a blast with it. I think Roland did a really good job with their new kits that came out this year. It's a great instrument to play on.
