well i heard he had good reason for invading kuwait. the fact that they syphoned off oil from iraq via underground theft. also saddam asked america if they would step in if he invaded the thieves and was told america has no intention of interfering in arab affairs. next thing that happened kuwait got trampled for 7 months and then hired america to get their country back.
