I'm in the process of switching from Lionel to MTH.I've been a Lionel fan for a very long time, but MTH gives you a much better bang for your buck. This is MTH's 30-2409-1 Pennsylvania 4-6-0 Passenger set W/Proto3 for under $300 and it runs and sounds great!!!

  • @MrHadley2011 Well Depends What or How My Liver Feels On That Day. I Hate Traction Tires Like Magna Traction.... I Like The Articulated Mallet Lokies Like The Y-6b..... But Love Lionel Hudson Locomotives ..... I Have Got a bunch of Marx Here Lately and Like It a Lot..

  • Well Depends.... MTH Has Some Really Nice Trains. I Have Quite a Few Of Them But I also have a beef with Mike Wolf...............On The Other Hand Lionel Stepped Up When MTH Came on the Scene. Real Track MTH I Have a Layout Of It.... Also Have a Display Of Fastrack. So Some Things I Like About MTH Track Like The Profile of The Rail, But I Also Like The Way That The Terminals Connect On The Fast Track. You Can With Some Degree Of Success Cut Lionel Fastrack Sections To Fit....

  • Nice Trains, Nice Layout Frank!

  • I agree!!!!...You definitely get more value in MTH Trains and I feel the quality is so much better....I have been buying MTH Trains since Mike Wolfe started the business in 1994.....I like lionel as well but My preference of choice is MTH....Thanks for sharing the video!!!!

  • Great Layout with some SUPER Scenery.

  • Awesome video! Are you keeping your Lionel Burlington set? I would if I were you. I have both MTH and Lionel my newest MTH engine I'm getting is an MTH premier Line AC4400CW that is 19.5 inches long!

  • All that for under $300.? That is a great deal!
